Entry Level Advantage To Employment (E.L.A.T.E. II)

School to Work Transition Program


The E.L.A.T.E. II program is another opportunity for high school graduates and unemployed youth to transition to work as they learn a broad range of basic technical skills that may be applied in the advanced manufacturing sector. Manufacturers in Hamilton currently need skilled workers. Graduates of the 32 week program will be trained in manufacturing processes, applying safe and effective operations. The program begins on May 4th, 2015, at Mohawk College, Stoney Creek Campus. A tuition fee of $250.00 will be required prior to the start. Tuition includes electronic notebook, personal equipment and tool kit that the student keeps upon successful completion. 

How to apply: 1.) Complete this application form

                            2.) Include 2 'Teacher OR Employer" reference forms (See below)

                            3.) Submit this package to elate to elate@iechamilton.ca or mail/drop off at:

All applicants will be notified of an interview to be held between: March 24th - April 17th, 2015
