Workplace Tours
Workplace Tours is a service that connects employers to elementary and secondary schools in Hamilton. It allows students to learn firsthand what life in the workplace is all about. In addition, it provides the students with information about different sectors while they observe operations and activities at a local business.

Enlighten your students to the vast career opportunities, within organizations, by scheduling a workplace tour. These tours not only provide your students with insight but it also supports your curriculum-based activities.
Our team will work with you to ensure that your curriculum needs are being met, while the business provides an opportunity to career-mentor your students!
To book a workplace tour, please contact IEC at workplacetours@iechamilton.ca or 905.529.4483 and we will make all of the arrangements. Please note, we request a minimum of 3-weeks’ notice to coordinate a tour for your class.

Volunteering in this program is easy. You specify the number of times you are interested in opening your doors to our students and we coordinate these tours with our local educators.
