The Passport to Prosperity program continues to encourage and support Ontario employers to provide experiential learning opportunities for high school students. Today, more than 26,000 employers across the province have been actively involved in shaping Ontario’s future workforce by providing students with the vital work experience and skills needed for a successful working life.

The Passport to Prosperity Employer Champion Awards were created to acknowledge these important contributions and particularly recognize Ontario employers who have shown an outstanding commitment to providing meaningful work experiences for high school students in their communities through any of the following: job shadowing , school-work transition programs, mentoring, classroom or worksite visits, career talks, cooperative education and Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program.
Nominations will be accepted on an ongoing basis and reviewed quarterly.

The deadline for submission for the summer review is June 16.

You may forward your nomination(s) by fax, mail or electronically: Nomination information will also be shared with the local business-education council or local training board supporting Passport to Prosperity in the employer’s region. The information will be shared for the purpose of local employer recognition.

Passport to Prosperity will not be held responsible for any false or misleading information provided. Prior to granting the Passport to Prosperity Employer Champion Award, a check of references will be conducted by the Provincial Partnership Council.
