Naseem became a career mentor in 1997 because he knows the difficulties of getting a job.  When he came to Canada, in 1993, he had a hard time gaining employment, even though he had education, training and experience.  Someone gave him a chance and it is his mission to give back by providing young people an opportunity to learn.  “My inspiration is for students to get the experience they need in order to success with their future goals”.

He provides students with the experience they will require when looking for a job.  “I am giving my students a next step.  Learning leads to the future which leads to money.  With more businesses opening up, more people are being hired.”

His advice for businesses thinking about getting involved in career mentorship is to take some personal time out and give yourself to your students to teach them. “You must put your own time and effort into the activities even if it is half and hour of your day, each second can make a difference.  That time factor pays back down the road.”
