The M.I.G.H.T.Y. Entrepreneurship Program is seeking inspiring individuals for the role of Mentors and Instructors. The M.I.G.H.T.Y. Programs seeks to demonstrate entrepreneurship as a viable career option for the youth of Hamilton Ontario. This 14 Experiential Learning Course is powered by our team of community mentors who will work one to one with aspiring entrepreneurs between September 2014 and April 2015.

While an entrepreneurial back ground is an asset, and inspiring individual who has valuable life experience can support the program in a variety of ways.

Entry Level Advantage to Employment – E.L.A.T.E. – A school to work program in manufacturing


The IEC of Hamilton is now accepting applications for this unique training program through Mohawk College, which begins August 6th and runs for 32 weeks. Successful candidates will be employed at the end of the program and have a broad set of skills in the areas of Welding, Blueprint Reading, Electrical Basics, Fluid Power, Health & Safety, Industrial Maintenance, AutoCAD, Machining, Automation Systems & Process Control. Candidates will receive an electronic notebook, tool kit and personal equipment for a fee of $250. Space is limited to 24 candidates, with a high school diploma and 24 years old or younger.
