The Halton Industry Education Council in partnership with Human Resources Development Canada initiated the development of apprenticesearch.com. IEC is the administrator of the website in Hamilton.
Registration on the database section of the website is open to employers and job seekers in across the province of Ontario. Anyone can access information and resources on the website.

We offer the opportunity of registering in our database. To register to our website, you must:

develop your own User ID and Password which allows you to use the job posting database; try to keep it simple and relevant to you

provide accurate contact information, including email address

complete a profile and upload your resume
Please note that your profile will not be approved without a resume. If you require assistance, view our Resume and Cover Letter Guide or contact us for assistance
The information you have provided will be reviewed within two business days and if completed as outlined, you will receive approval. Notification will be provided to you at the email address you have listed. If your file is incomplete or provides any questionable material you will be contacted.
Once approved you may search the database for current apprenticeship openings that have been posted with apprenticesearch.com.
We do not provide applicants with a list of employers or apprenticeship opportunities. It is the applicant’s responsibility to actively seek and apply for apprenticeship opportunities.
